About ADAS calibration

ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) are the safety features that use cameras and radar to see the road: automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and collision warning. Calibration aims those cameras and sensors exactly where the manufacturer specifies.

Why it’s required

Even a small shift in where a camera or sensor points can make these systems misread the road, brake when they shouldn’t, or fail to brake when they should. Vehicle manufacturers call for calibration after work like:

  • Windshield replacement
  • Wheel alignment
  • Suspension or steering repairs
  • Collision repair, or bumper and mirror removal
  • Replacing a camera, radar sensor, or related module

A dashboard warning light after any of these is a common sign calibration was skipped.

Why have it done at ReGo instead of the dealer

  • No dealer trip. We calibrate in-house, right here in Columbia.
  • One visit. Alignment, suspension work, and calibration can all happen in the same appointment.
  • Lower cost. Calibration starts at $299, typically below dealer pricing.
  • Proof it was done right. You get documentation showing the calibration was completed.
  • Done by experienced technicians, including an ASE Master Technician.

Not every vehicle can be calibrated with the same equipment. Call ahead with your year, make, and model, and we’ll confirm before you come in.
